Ways to Make Cannabis Oil

  1. Oil Method

Step 7: Wait for about three hours and every now and then check the pot and see to if the water has not evaporated.

Step 8: Turn off the heat after three hours and leave it for another three hours.  Heat it again for three hours then turn off the heat, and leave overnight.

Step 9: Your CBD oil will be ready the next day. Strain it using a cheesecloth, squeeze out the oil which is ready to use.

2. The Alcohol Method

This is also called as the ethanol method. This method will not need special skills and advanced equipment that even novice in making cannabis oil would enjoy. The alcohol in this method serves as the extracting agent. The alcohol will not leave any trace of unpleasant taste or odor.


Step 1: Place the weed in a ceramic or glass bowl. Soaked the ground marijuana with alcohol and stir the mixture for 6 minutes. With the use of a wooden spoon, extract the resin.

Step 2: Prepare a sieve to filter or a straining bag the solvent out of the container, and then squeeze tightly.

Step 3: You are welcome to repeat the procedure if you observe that the mixture can still be extracted.

Step 4: Pour the collected oil in a double boiler. Heat until you can see that bubbles start to form.

Step 5: Let the alcohol completely evaporate. Don’t raise the temperature. Wait for the extract to simmers in thirty minutes under low fire.

Step 6: Mix the extract once the alcohol had evaporated completely. Then you now transfer the concentrated oil in your desired storage bottle.

Step 7: You just have to  make sure to keep the lid tightly closed  in order to preserve the quality and effectiveness of the cannabis oil
